I've said it before but I'll say it again: I ADORE THIS SERIES. The Jackson family is the most warm, loving, amusing group of characters and with each book Lexi Ryan delivers, I fall harder and harder for them. But I honestly never thought I'd love Brayden Jackson as much as I do in this moment. Wrapped In Love filled me with all the deliciously giddy feels I crave when reading a good romance but this one is ratcheted up even higher with a holiday spin woven seamlessly with an angsty love story. I just loved it.While the Boys of Jackson Harbor series is made up of interconnected standalones, I'd highly recommend reading them in order. I never felt that way before reading Wrapped in Love, I would've previously told you that mixing them up was fine. But Molly has a lot of heartbreaking, complicated backstory that we get glimpses of throughout the series and as painful and infuriating as it sometimes was to see, I'm so glad I got to see everything build up to this conclusion the way it did.
Molly and Brayden might be my new favorite couple of this series. Their chemistry is fiery and palpable but their journey is rich with complications and an angsty push and pull. I just couldn't get enough of it. My heart broke again and again while reading this particular book but juxtaposed with the warm, giddy rush I felt while reading the steamy scenes, the romantic declarations, the absolute SWEETNESS that is Brayden Jackson, and I was intoxicated. I'm not sure if I was just blissed out because I got to curl up in a snowstorm with this book, or if it's actually THAT reminiscent of the old school love stories that first ensnared me years ago, but this book definitely gave me that nostalgic vibe I only find on occasion that takes me right back to the days I first found indie romance. I LOVE that feeling and I had it the entire way through this book.
This book is so sad at times. It's hard to read. It broke my heart. But it's also so unbelievably romantic, so sweet, so heart warming. It's a story of family and friendship and finding your people. It's about forgiveness and acceptance and coming to terms with what you deserve. It's often frustrating and it's so deliciously sexy. It's layered with feel-good holiday cheer while also delivering angst that often comes out of nowhere and squeezes your heart in that painfully pleasurable way I crave. I adored this book, my new favorite of the series and I can't recommend this series enough.

Wrapped in Love The Boys of Jackson Harbor Book 4 eBook Lexi Ryan Reviews
I have really enjoyed the series so far so I was excited for this one, but Molly was very frustrating. I didn't like her character at all. She was very "woe is me" and I can't stand that in a main character, especially when it's the female. I get that she has been through a lot (I know her whole story from the previous book), but it got very repetitive. Brayden made his feelings quite obvious, so the whole, "does he or doesn't he?" was annoying. It took her the whole book to think about Brayden and how he has been severely hurt in the past, too. She never considered his feelings and how hard it might be for him to take a chance as well. The difference was that he was willing to try and take a chance whereas she kept making excuses and running away; over and over again. I loved Brayden as a character and loved seeing him with his family and the rest of the gang. Quite frankly, without the secondary characters, I probably would've hated this book more. Despite not liking this book, I am still looking forward to Carter's book and am curious to read his story.
Wrapped in Love is book 4 of the Jackson Harbor series, Brayden and Molly's story. Molly has had a pretty rough life with some serious trust issues to overcome. Brayden is her boss and her friend, someone who has known her for years and just wants a chance to show her he is the right man for her and her son, that he'll put her needs above his own. When Molly ends up needing a temporary place to stay at Christmas time, Brayden's sister throws out the idea that he has plenty of space in his huge house. While awkward at first, they get a routine established and comfort and mutual respect that soon leads to other things, like ideas for a future. At least for Brayden. Molly may still need some convincing. But Brayden is nothing if not patient.
As always, Lexi hits you right in the feels with this book, just as she does with every story. For this reason, she will always be my favorite one click author. Every new Jackson brother I think he's the best one yet, but I think she's going to have a hard time topping Brayden when she gets to Carter's story. But then again, she likes to prove me wrong.
If you're looking for a heartwarming Christmas read, then this is definitely the book for you.
The Boys of Jackson Harbor series has been the most enjoyable series. Because in each book it features one of those Jackson brothers and let me tell you, each and every one of them is book boyfriend material. How can one family have so many gorgeous boys, that are so sweet and loving, but an alpha in the bedroom. There is one sister, and I’m looking forward to reading about her love story too.
This is the fourth book in the series, and honestly I didn’t know if I was going to like the female lead in it because of her past role in book 3. I loved Brayden, I mean really loved him. He’s really something very special. We haven’t had a peek at who Brayden really is before now, but he is wonderful!
It was Molly that I was really afraid I wouldn’t be able to open up to. And at the beginning I still wasn’t so sure. But Lexi Ryan knows how to open someone up and reveal what’s truly inside. That’s what she did with Molly. I came to really love Molly. She ended up being good for Brayden, as he was for her. They go through some challenges and heartbreak, but they get through it. I found the end so heartwarming and Molly and her son, Noah, truly belong with the Jackson family. I can’t wait till the next book, where Carter Jackson gets his happily ever after!!
It’s an intense and angsty second chance romance. Don’t miss this wonderful romance. I highly recommend it.
